Monika Hosaki has been an entrepreneur for over 20 years. She founded and operated businesses before, during, and after law school. She has practiced law for over 10 years, always at the intersection of technology, intellectual property, and new business models — the same frontier that shapes the firm today.
She is a professor and author, with published articles and editorial direction on projects in intellectual property, new technologies, startups, and legal entrepreneurship — including the guide Entendendo o Marco Legal das Startups (Understanding Brazil's Startup Legal Framework) and the podcasts Transportar é Preciso and Negócios da Amazônia. Speaker at OAB (Brazilian Bar Association) events and innovation hubs across Brazil.
She founded Hosaki Advogados to build the boutique firm she saw missing in the Brazilian market: technical, authorial, and operating at the same speed as those it serves. She is also CEO of Creator Nexus, a practice dedicated to managing intangible assets: brand, IP portfolio, audience, contracts, and revenue.
